Privacy Policy

Account details. When you continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address, profile photo and a Google account ID with us. We never see your Google password.

What you tell us. Your quiz answers and story preferences, your Academy progress, quiz and exam results, and the display name you choose for a credential.

Newsletter and research. Your email address, which editions you chose, and where you signed up. Survey answers are collected anonymously and reported only in aggregate.

Payments. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, plan and payment status, never your full card number.

Basic technical data. Cookies that keep you signed in, and small items saved in your browser (for example your free assessment score), plus standard server logs.

Page-view counts. Vercel Web Analytics counts which pages are read and which site or link sent the visit. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. Sign-in pages are not counted, and before a page view is sent we remove anything in its address that could point to one reader, such as sign-in codes and the IDs of your journal entries, articles and posts.

To sign you in, write and deliver your story chapters, send the Climactic Bible you asked for, run the Academy and issue credentials, process payments, and keep the site secure.

To send the newsletter, only if you opted in. Asking for the Bible or a free chapter is not the same as subscribing to marketing, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

Only your credential. If you earn one, its verification page shows the display name you chose, the credential, its ID, the issue date and the competencies it covers. Nothing else from your account is public.

Service providers that run the site for us, under their own privacy and security commitments: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), our hosting provider, and AI text-generation providers that help write your personalized story from your preferences.

Affiliate partners. Some product links are affiliate links. If you click one, that retailer may set its own cookies under its own policy.

We may disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information.

We keep your information while your account is active. To see, correct, export or delete it, email helloprotagonist2026@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account also deletes your Academy progress and revokes any credential.

Hello Protagonist is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email for significant changes. Questions: helloprotagonist2026@gmail.com.
